Friends on the road

Special thanks to Dave the Newfoundland crew at the Canadian Tire in Thunder Bay, Ontario on last summer’s cross Canada road trip. Had me back at the road the next morning.  As they say, you can find a Newfoundlander anywhere. From the west coast of the island he has been in Thunder Bay for 15 years.

We took six weeks and a 15 year old Volvo XC 70 and drove the Trans-Canada highway from Logy Bay Road in the east end of St John’s to Beacon Hill Park in Victoria …and RETURNED! 20,000 kilometres and an amazing cultural, geographic, economics and political experience.
